The 44-year-old actress tells Redbook she is no longer tempted by such distractions. She has gotten it all out of her system. She goes on to say, “My only temptations now are chocolate and martinis!”

Margulies has become an expert of sorts on infidelity through her Emmy-nominated role on the CBS drama. Because of her character she has had to think about being unfaithful and being cheated on.

No Time For An Affair

When Margulies was asked why more men than women make the headlines for cheating, her reply was, “We are tired! What woman has time for an affair?”

Margulies and Lieberthal were married in 2007. Two months later they welcomed their first baby boy, Kieran. This totally transformed her life.

Margulies admits she was never one who liked being around a lot of little kids, but since she had her own son, she sees things in a different perspective. While on hiatus from The Good Wife Margulies had several good job offers, but she chose to spend the time with her family. When asked if she considered herself a good wife, her reply was “You’d have to ask my husband that question.” She does remember one day in particular that should give her a good grade.

“I got up at 5:30 with the baby, went to work at 6:30 for 12 hours, grocery shopped, cooked dinner, and then later, my husband and I made love,”: She says. “We both looked at each other that night and said, ‘This day will never happen again!”
