Alan Cumming Speaks about his ‘The Good Wife’ role
Star of ‘The Good Wife’ Alan Cumming has been speaking on the show and is reported to have said that he was talked into joining the show after he was really unimpressed by the script. He said he was asked to do a couple of episodes only but he was really not impressed with what he read.

He said he could not make sense of the script after reading and that of not for his manger who insisted on him doing it, he would have let it pass. He then said that it was the manager who made him not to pass up on what he called a great idea.
He also said that he did not do any research on the role before taking it up and he said that his lack of knowledge in the field kind of worked for him because he was just given the material and he faked it. Last year he signed a contract to remain in the show for another 3 years. He also said that he sees Eli as a very complex character and would like to explore it a bit more.
